Stamping Technology

What is stamping
technology?

Stamping is a type of chipless manufacturing process. The term encompasses several cutting, forming, and shaping processes. For example, a stamping die can be used to cut, form, or join materials.

Precision Cold Forming for Cost-Effective Series Production Parts

Our stamping technology is based on the precise Cold Forming of Coil Stock / Strip Material with thicknesses ranging from 0.4 to 6 mm.
We manufacture your components with high Repeatability and consistently reproducible quality using tool-bound dies on our high-performance automatic stamping and forming machines with Press Forces ranging from 3,000 to 8,000 kN.
Depending on the component geometry and production run requirements, we use progressive Die tools or transfer Die tools. Both technologies allow us to combine multiple manufacturing steps within a single automated process to offer you the most cost-effective solution.

Stamping Technology as the Foundation of Cost-Effective Serial Production Processes

In addition to traditional Stamping and Forming Technology, Fischer Fertigungstechnik also manufactures complex assemblies according to individual customer requirements. Integrated assembly processes allow manufacturing steps to be consolidated and logistics workflows to be simplified. Depending on the application, various joining methods are used, including pressure joining, riveting, and various welding methods. Partially and fully automated assembly lines enable cost-effective series production for both small and large production runs.
