What Is
Welding?

Welding is a process in which two or more metal parts are permanently fastened together.

This is done by heating the materials at the joints to a very high temperature (often until they melt). Sometimes an additional filler material is used to fasten the parts; after cooling, a strong, permanent joint is formed.

Various Welding Methods for Different Requirements

In many applications, functional parts are created only through the precise assembly of multiple components. The combination of stamping technology and welding technologies is therefore a central component of modern metalworking.

By integrating various welding processes, we can fasten individual stamped and formed parts to create functional assemblies, thereby producing complete component units for you.

Depending on the component’s geometry, material, and requirements for strength or precision, we use the welding process that best suits your needs.

Precision Through Coordinated Manufacturing Processes

A key advantage of our manufacturing process lies in the close coordination between stamping technology and welding processes. We take the subsequent joints into account as early as the component design phase to ensure optimal fit and stable welded joints.

This results in assemblies in which all components are precisely matched to one another and function reliably over the long term.

The combination of metal forming and welding technologies enables us to manufacture complete assemblies cost-effectively and to consolidate multiple manufacturing steps into a single, continuous process chain.

We don’t just supply components—we provide complete solutions for Mass Production/ High-Volume Production.

Welding Processes

Why Choose Fischer Manufacturing Technology for Welding Processes?

Drawing on our extensive knowledge of various materials and manufacturing processes, we produce functional components and Assemblies—all from a single source. By combining different manufacturing processes, we reduce additional assembly work and create cost-effective, precise, and highly reliable production solutions. This allows our customers to benefit from high quality, efficiency, and Process Reliability.

Joining and Fastening Technologies

In addition to welding, there are a variety of other joining and fastening technologies that can, for example, be integrated directly into the stamping process, thereby creating a highly efficient manufacturing process.
The right choice determines the quality, process stability, and cost-effectiveness of the entire serial production run.
